Sands continuously shift beneath us. Whatever we build will eventually be swept away. Meaning exits within the moments we share and the consequences we leave for others.

To assume the experience of life is anything other than opportunity for enlightenment is a waste.

Choice is always difficult. Consequence is paramount. To choose gain at another's expense is to place yourself above the other and prove yourself the lesser.

To not bet on your own abilities to learn, adjust, create, and adapt is to abandon all that has been given you. To fail to recognize and appreciate what has been left for you to find is your fault, your loss.

Though tragedy and strife threaten to consume us, discovering or rediscovering simple truths can be renewing and healthful.
