Edna, dear, we are very much hoping to see you again this Spring. The ice and cold of the last few weeks have begun to disappear. The ground is quite damp and pungent. I know you will drill me on exactly the right things to do in the garden. Your visits never fail to lighten my spirits. Wonders we accomplish continue to thrill long into Summer and Fall. When, dear, can we expect you? Your adoring sister, Edith P.S. Henry has promised not to complain anymore of the compost box you've placed in the basement, as he has found it very handy to have a ready supply of worms for fishing. Yet another feather in your cap. |
