Afterlife or not, each of us survives passing within the consequences of our actions. Whether a kind word, tender touch, offer to help, constructive idea, contributed resource, or physical effort the consequences of what we do ripple through time as part of the fabric of life itself. While hurtful, demoralizing, destabilizing, destructive, counter-productive efforts also have consequences, life itself seems to forever have the renewing ability to heal over and move on. Whatever is lost remains only so long as memory exits within those who survive. When those survivors and their memories pass, the healing is complete. |
